Reminds me of the Italian delis back home in New York. Friendly staff. Great fresh food. Great selection.

If you like Mazzaro's Italian Market, you will LOVE Capo de Monte Italian Market & Deli on Seminole Blvd. This little store is packed to the rafters with delicious Italian specialty items, and many homemade products to-go, like the delicious, handcrafted mushroom & sheep's cheese raviolis we had today. We sauced them with a delicious, light vodka sauce. Yum! Check 'em out!

This was one of the best stops of our week! Huge sandwiches and fresh pasta, meats, bread, dip.. you name it and everything was amazing!

Toni and her team are amazing. The absolute best Italian market in Pinellas Count and beyond. Definitely worth the drive from anywhere. The food is homemade and outstanding. There are so many delicious choices that you simply just have to keep coming back for more.

The food is great, I love the Lasagna, Greek Salad, and the Cannoli's! But the grocery store is the best thing -- if you haven't shopped at Capo De Monte, try it!!Update: I now eat lunch here on a regular basis with a small group.....I love the subs, but most of our group goes with the awesome salads. But you absolutely have to order a tray of lasagna to take home for dinner. My family raves about the Capo de Monte's homemade Lasagna - we had the Cheese Lasagna for a family feast last Fall, and the meat Lasagna for an extended family reunion after Christmas. Capo caters, so I would suggest trying a tray of Chicken Parmesan or Lasagna (or both) for your next catered event!!

Wonderful home made Italian dishes and some great salads. I love stopping by whenever I can. Toni, the owner is fantastic and I have no problem referring them to anyone. Do yourself the favor and stop by capo for lunch.

Had some issues with the eggplant parmesan but they stand 100% behind there products and took care of us nicely thanks!!

Superb sandwiches and Italian deli items. It sometimes takes a while but the very creative sandwiches and foods are delicious! Not to be missed.

I'm from NY and this is just like the good Italian markets back home. Great homemade pasta dishes, nice wine selection and the only place I can find a decent Panettone at Christmas! Owner and staff very friendly and helpful! A gem in St. Pete!

Loved my Famiglia sub! Delizioso!!! They also had a very tasty looking olive medley, I would of taken some home but did not have ice in our work cooler. I will be back!

This is the best local Italian Market around! Forget about that other place in St. Pete. CAPO IS THE BEST. The family environment paired with the delicious food is almost as good as their Cheeses and Wines to pair!

Been going to this amazing little shop for years and have yet to try everything. There is so much to choose from, but if your in a hurry you will have no problem immediately spotting something Delicious to eatAmazing place, amazing food, amazing people. I could eat here every day of the week and have something different every single time. Great little neighborhood Italian market.

I love the food at Capo De Monte and the staff is also very friendly, like your real Italian family. I love their salads and my husband loves when I bring some nice Italian pasta home for him for dinner. They are also amazing for catering. Great selection and you can be sure there's not going to be any leftovers.

1st time visit, we had subs and they were delish, everything looks so good. We'll be back for sure

Capo is DELICIOUS! The Seminole slammer is aah-mazing. I highly recommend to stop in and check them out. OH, & the catered chicken piccata... just try it for yourself. You won't be disappointed.

We tried the lasagna this time and it was AMAZING. I have not ever had anything here I didn't like! Make the time to stop in here and grab a sub, fresh salad, a take home dinner or place a catering order! You will be so happy!

OK local Italian grocery...gluten free almond cookies are good. Good selection of Italian products and in house made Italian food, pasta and pastry. Customer service could have been better. Did not get exactly what I ordered..( could be my communication). no one made any suggestions to me when I was there and there was plenty of opportunity.

DEEE-licious sandwiches but questionable business ethics!*EDIT* 9-8-2018While I enjoyed my sandwich I am EXCEEDINGLY upset by the charge on my card which I reviewed this morning. The sandwich I bought, the whole Italian Sausage Parmesan (delicious) was $8.99 which I bought with no sides, nothing. After tax this brought my bill to $9.62 to which I added a $3.00 tip (at nearly 30% this was MORE than generous for a carry-out deli sandwich) which brought the final bill to $12.62. Someone at Capo De Monte took it upon themselves to add an additional $7.00 to the tip which made the final bill they charged me for an $8.99 sandwich $19.62, making it a $10 tip for an $8.99 sandwich!!!!!! They offered me the "sandwich club" but if this is the way they conduct business then I will NOT be back. I'm incredibly disappointed!

I love the hot sandwiches at lunchtime. Everything on the menu is amazing!

Everything I ever have to eat here whether eating in or taking out is always delicious! If I am going to a party and need to bring a dish I always stop in here and pick up something or stop in for a quick catering order. They have catered many parties and events that I have attended and i always get excited when i see their menu on a table full of food. Their salads are AMAZING. They are creative, flavorful and FRESH! I encourage you to stop in and try something or everything, you wont be disappointed!
